Happiness & misery

The more miserable people are, the less they feel motivated to fully develop themselves as human beings. But the happier they are, the more motivated they are to reverse the negativity and develop themselves.

Reversing damage from liberalism

If you want to reverse the damage that the liberals have done to America, then you need to know where to start. If you're one of the people who want to know where to start (or even if you think you know) then you need to check out this documentary.

Here's another way of saying that:

To get our country back, we need to get the establishments back. The entertainment establishment, the courts, the schools and the media, etc. Losing those to the libs is what caused the mess we're currently in with Obama and his, in my opinion, cronies.

The awakening of people here in America

How many of us are awake already, but don't know what to do about the situation we're in? Key word "DO". How many of us know what to DO? It doesn't matter if we're all awake, if we don't know what to do about the problems we face, we won't do what needs to be done and we'll still be destroyed.

All these things require an ID except voting in some areas

Purchase alcohol and cigarettes.
Open a bank acount.
Apply for food stamps, welfare, medicaid, social security, job, unemployment.
Rent a house.
Buy a house.
Apply for a mortgage.
Drive or rent or buy a car.
Get on an airplane.
Get married.
Purchase a gun.
Adopt a pet
Rent a hotel room.
Apply for a hunting or fishing license.
Buy a cellphone.
Visit a casino.
Get a prescription.
Hold a rally or protest.
Donate your blood.
Buy an M rated video game.

In what is written in the list above, nothing is considered racist but the one thing below is.

Voting.

The question now is "why"?

If you or someone you know partakes in any of the activities in the long list above, then how hard is it, really, to show that very same ID to someone when you're voting?

Here is where I got the list above:

Limited power

The more power that imperfect and ego driven beings such as us humans have, the more that power is likely to be abused, hence the need for limited government. The question now becomes how limited. Let the debate start there amongst whoever reads these words.

Taking offense, part 2

Unless there's 100% unanimous thinking from person to person, there won't ever be full agreement. As far as I can tell, only full agreement gives us the ability to always avoid offending someone.

But we should still do our best to not offend people.

Please look at Taking offense, part 1

Blame the psycho, not the...

Liberals blame guns and the person who shot the school. I blame the person.

As for the gun, how can you blame something that doesn't have a brain to know what to do, or fingers to pull it's own trigger?

To pull it's own trigger requires more than what the gun has in it's machinery.  The same goes for aiming it at a target or even picking a target or adjusting the aim.

Guns simply don't have what it takes to do all that.

Again I blame the person, not the gun.

Gov't policies affect our lives & some of us do hardly a thing!

Policies in Washington DC, in our state level and at our town/city level affect how we live. They affect what we are allowed to do and not to do. In other words, they affect how we can pursue happiness and a life that we want to be well lived.
So how can we not be involved when it's our lives that are being governed here? What's the point of We The People if We don't become as active in holding our elected officials as accountable as they'd like to hold us in any given way?
Get involved, people! Please!

Needing power to have irrational hatred of others? Really?

You don't need to have more or less power than any one person or group of people to hate them for irrational reasons or to be bigoted towards them.
Irrational hatred of others is based on what one thinks and believes, not what level of power someone has attained. Even poor people, even people with little power, can have irrational hatred and have had it.
So when I see things like "non-whites can't be racist because they don't have power" I know that someone is messing around with the definitions of these terms to achieve something other than what is just.

You don't need power to be bigoted.

To have hatred in your heart requires nothing but you. Just you. Only you. Power & influence not necessary.

Mere politics?

Whether left or right, politics aren't just a set of mere beliefs.

They're what guide the decisions of politicians and their decisions decide what direction our country goes in. Politics DOES have an interest in you as a result of this.

Do you like or not like what's going on in the country right now or at some point in our past? If you answered yes or no, you've just shown how politics isn't some mere thing whose presence can be likened to something small. Politics is very big. So is the notion of "where our country is headed."

When I was a kid, I always thought that politics was some boring thing that people took part in... many things about politics are dry & boring such as the insanely dry language used, etc, but the results we feel & experience sure as heck are not!

Our freedom & pursuits of happiness stem from which political beliefs are dominant in policy-making at the local, the state and the federal level. This is why We The People need to be informed. This is why the media needs to be honest. This is why we need to hold our elected officials accountable as well as those they appoint to a particular position.

Taking offense part 1

Because people have passion, because they have pride, because nobody agrees on everything and because people have spent years invested in their way of thinking, it's unrealistic to think that you'll somehow be able to always avoid offending people.

Some might think that I'm advocating to go around offending others.

My response is two-fold:

1.)  I have feelings too, so are they saying that I advocate for people to offend me? Are they saying that I advocate for people to offend my friends & family?

2.) The definition to the word "unrealistic" is different from the definition for the term "advocate for."  The dictionary makes this clear.  So to say it's unrealistic to be able to always avoid offending people isn't to advocate doing so.  It's pointing out limitations.

A friend once said:

"People are different. Experiences are different. Ideas are different."

Because of that fact, it's impossible to always avoid offending someone.  Why do you think the phrase "sometimes it's better to just walk away" is often said?

We can only do our best.

Offended by being required to show ID to vote?

Prove you are who you claim to be, then vote only once. Hey liberals, how is this bad? How can it be offensive to make someone adhere to this way of doing things?

Or do you want people to vote more than once, under two or more identities? Do you see that as being honest? Or do you not see a problem voting more than once as more than one person?

This whole issue makes me sick. It offends me when people game the elections by doing the things I listed here.

Though, they do claim to have good intentions. My response to that? It's this: Good intentions, as a concept, is different from being honest. Also, there's that saying "the road to hell is paved with good intentions."

I take that saying to mean that it's not enough to have good intentions. Having good intentions & being honest (as well as informed) is truly essential. In my opinion, it's not enough to have just one or the other.

UPDATE: Free Justina Pelletier now!

!

Actions speak louder than words. Actions = Rescuing Justina. Words = ALL else!

Her teenage years are being stolen from her.  She is in the stages of her life when she's learning who she can trust & who she can't.  She is a innocent & helpless child!

Release her!

The longer this all goes, the more hurt she will be and the harder it will be for some to escape any legal consequences!  Not only is that stupid, but cruel!

So I say again:

Actions speak louder than words. Actions = Rescuing Justina. Words = ALL else!

UPDATE:  As of June 18th 2014, Justina is back home with her family!  Awesome news!!!

Government: Elected officials or We The People?

Sometimes people will say "Isn't gov't really We The People?"

In my opinion, the government has, in any context, one of two meanings:
1.) We The People.
2.) The individuals who are elected and the people they appoint to certain positions in any given bureaucracy.

Though when I see the words "The government is getting abusive, they are ripping up the Constitution & eroding our freedoms" I think of the second definition above.

"Politicians are public servants & should serve We The People" is another blog entry I'd like to bring to your attention.  It deals with the second definition of "government" I listed here.

Voter ID

I'm a poor man.  I have very little money.  Yet I have an ID.

I've used it to set up bank accounts.  If I drank alcohol or smoked, I'd use it to buy those.

There's a CVS pharmacy near where I live and one time, I bought one of those energy drinks.  I had to show my ID to buy it.

It takes no effort to use the very same ID used for those activities and use it for voting.

What's more, it's not a bad thing for me to be required to vote only once.

It's also not a bad thing for me to prove I am who I say I am.

If I were to vote more than once & didn't need to prove my identity, that makes it easier for anyone to vote.

"Anyone" is thus defined as: either from this country or not from this country.  Anyone who is a citizen or who is not a citizen.

That's not voting.  That's something else entirely.

(I may decide to update this blog entry sometime, not sure yet)

"The Constitution can't protect you if you don't protect it…" (and another quote)

There is a quote I saw that was attributed to Thomas Sowell.  I cannot verify whether he said it or not.  However, the quote still makes sense:

"The Constitution cannot protect you, if you don't protect the Constitution with your votes against anyone who violates it.  Those government officials who want more power are not going to stop unless they get stopped."

I have something I'd like to add to that:

Just because there's rules & laws doesn't mean that those in charge will follow them. And just because there's people who'll follow them doesn't mean they're the ones in charge.

Guns cannot pull their own triggers

The gun does not pull it's own trigger, it has to be the person to get that done. Notice I didn't make mention of why the trigger is pulled, just that it is.
Gun control advocates like to say "Well, the intent must be evil."
Until you know the intentions of the person with the gun, you can't say whether or not their motive is to kill others in cold blood or something that's not evil. To do so would be to presuppose guilt based on the person in possession of an inanimate object that doesn't itself have motivations nor intentions.

Since the gun cannot pull it's own trigger, it's the person that does. Since the presence of the gun doesn't indicate the intent of the person who possesses it, saying that they have bad intentions right off the bat is making a 100% pure assumption.

For more of my thoughts on this, please click here:

Guns don't have motivations… what a strange concept that would be!

Obama is a fraud & so are those who enable him now, in the past & in the future

People have said that Obama is the greatest fraud in American history. I will add to this that all the people who helped prop up his "Presidency" should be included in that label. They helped him, they propped him up, then enabled him, they ignored proper procedures of vetting, they let him waltz into the White House….
They are just as much a part of this as he is. From the MSM to unelected bureaucrats (with tremendous power) to certain people in the Senate & Congress, the MSM. Perhaps an "etc" is necessary here, because if a full investigation is done, I'm sure my list won't be considered exhaustive.
And it's not just he and them that's the greatest fraud, it's all those unconstitutional laws that have been passed that enabled them to enable him.

    Update 6/6/14

Actions speak louder than words.  Actions = Impeach Obama/prosecute him.  Words = ALL else!

Guns don't have motivations… what a strange concept that would be!

Guns don't have motivations nor intentions, so there is no way they would know what to do (or not do) in any given situation. It's the people who are either killers or not.

The people are the ones who pull the trigger.

The people are the ones who pick up the gun.

The people are the ones who, once the gun is picked up, move around with it.

The guns don't do that.  They can't do that.  It's impossible.

When there is a killing, it's the person who does it.  The gun does not make the decision to pull the trigger.

For more of my thoughts on this topic, please click here:

Guns cannot pull their own triggers

When to think about the next election & the one after that

"The time to start thinking about the next election is now. It doesn't matter whether the vote is next month or next year. Whether the vote is a year away or four, start preparing now, because the Democrats already are."

    A creepy truth about Benghazi

Proe Graphique originally brought up the fact that I'm about to share with you now:

Benghazi is the first time a President of the United States, of all people (!!) has to be told to "Release the witness/survivors!"

It's awfully creepy when a regular person has to be told anything like that, but a President?  That's far beyond the normal level of creepy!

Something else that's bothersome is that the media played a huge role in him getting elected.  In my opinion, people propped up his Presidency.  Thus they played a huge role in such a thing needing to be said to a President.

HOW TO PROVE THAT OBAMA'S FATHER IS FRANK MARSHALL DAVIS, via Fair Use Act material

If you click on the text above, you'll come to a video with this as it's description:

    Published on Sep 25, 2012
    1/23/2014 UPDATE:

    1. This video was created before the Nov 2012 election. However, as Obamacare tears this nation to pieces and Democrats run for political cover (a record number are resigning rather than face defeat in November), the GOP congress is getting more bold about questioning Obama's background. We feel this video is absolutely critical toward that end.

    2. Many liberals have commented that morphing is not a "reliable" test of parentage. It is true insomuch as many children do not look like a combination of parents. However, to think that there is no extreme cause of suspicion about parentage when Mother & "mentor" Davis whom Obama spent his childhood morph and create essentially an identical image of Barack Obama's face, right down to a modified version of the fatty pouch under the bottom lip which was an extremely unusual feature in Davis. Why is this important? Because America cannot have a president ruining the country who has lied not only about what he will do, but who he even is.

    3. Because Mother Dunham and father Davis were Americans does not mean Obama is eligible to be president. Too many people, including Obama's publishing rep (for 20 years), the Harvard law review and Michelle Obama and others who would know first-hand are on tape elsewhere on youtube claiming Obama was born in Kenya. If a Kenyan ( who abandoned Barack early on, understandable if Davis was the father) agreed to marry the Mother, the Mother must have needed some reason to go to Kenya. Selling the idea, in socially restrictive 1961, that Obama Sr was the father by giving birth to Barack in his home country would have been a natural course of action to avoid the societal stigma of giving birth to the baby of someone other than the husband. Obama is clearly the son of radical Communist Frank Marshal Davis and lied to America about it when running for office and is in all likelihood not even eligible to hold the position of President - meaning all law signed by Obama - including Obamacare - have never BEEN law and all soldiers killed when Obama sent them into battle (a now record number in Afghanistan) without authority would appear to legally constitute acts of murder (Imagine YOU dress up like a general, give orders, get people killed, get caught, and see what happens to you!)

    4. "America's Sheriff" Joe Arpaio, 56 years law enforcement, 30 with the fed, 3,400 law enforcement people under him for his 5 million constituents had a team of experts check the birth certificate online for 6 months. Conclusion? Criminal forgery. Press ignores result AND now, Arpaio, formerly a regular on cable news talk shows. Massive cover-up - of that story, at least. Of that there can be no question.

ALL COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL / IMAGES IN THIS VIDEO USED PER THE FAIR USE ACT and is presented here for educational purposes onl. All other rights reserved. The analysis and script are original to the video creator. WATCH THIS VIDEO and see how you can PROVE THAT OBAMA IS THE SON OF FBI-IDENTIFIED COMMUNIST FRANK MARSHALL DAVIS THE WAY THE FBI DOES THIS KIND OF THING.

EXAMPLES OF THE FBI USING FACIAL MORPHING. Example 1, a 2008 overview from the FBI website itself:
    http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/lab/foren...

EXAMPLE 2 Morphing used in criminal forensics, particularly the famous Caylee Anthony murder:
    http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2...

EXAMPLE 3: FBI website, and 11-year-old story that approaches the situation similarly but with more primitive tools and an indicator of how long this kind of thing has been prevalent.
    http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/lab/foren...

EXAMPLE 4, similar to example 3, but one year old and more complex descriptions
    http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/lab/foren...

EXAMPLE 5; here is a whole page of morphing software geared and marketed to the law enforcement market
    http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/faci...

Now don't get me wrong, I don't expect a single liberal to say "My God, it's true!" because they are not interested in the truth, the liberals commenting here are interested in hiding and mocking down any truth that is politically dangerous for Obama. But OTHERS may want to know that this is legit.

Politicians are public servants & should serve We The People

To all politicians on the local, state & federal level:

You are public servants. The best way to serve the public is to preserve, protect & defend the United States Constitution. That is your job, so do it!

Doing so will benefit the roughly 300 million people in the USA.

A three word nickname for those millions is:

    We The People.

Actions speak louder than words (updated: 2/18/14, at 10:55 am EST)

Actions speak louder than words. Actions = Actually saving America.

    Words = ALL else!

Every single person running for local, state and federal office as well as those already there need to understand, accept & implement this into not just their rhetoric but their actions as well.

1.)  One way to save & protect America?  Protect the power grid!

2.)  Another way to save & protect America: Stop the insane level of spending!

I have a saying that goes with this one:

"If it's smart for individuals to live within their means, families to live within their means and businesses to function within their means, why not the gov't as well?"

3.)  So far, over a hundred Reps have cosponsored HRes442 STOPres.  The rest of the Reps need to as well.  Doing so would show me and my fellow Americans that they understand my extension of the saying "actions speak louder than words" above.

For those of you who'd like to see the text of HRes 442, click here.

After all, like I say in another blog entry on here regarding our elected officials aka public servants: "The best way to serve the public is to preserve, protect & defend the United States Constitution." ETC.

Update 2/18/14 10:55 am:  Here is a Breitbart article that talks about how "Over 100 GOP reps file resolution to restrict Obama's executive overreach."  The Tea Party Fire Ants, of which I am a PROUD member, contributed to that huge number of cosponsors to Rep Tom Rice's HRes442.  The leader of that group understands my extension of the "Actions speak louder than words" saying very well.

Fundamental mistakes made re Obamacare website

I remember someone saying something along the lines of “The website may not work, but Obamacare does.” I can’t remember if it was Pelosi or Obama himself. Maybe it was someone else.

My response to whoever it was is all of what appears below:

1.) You had the money to get it right the first time.
2.) You had the resources to find the very best people to set up the website the first time.
3.) You had a couple of years to do all this.

If you’re gonna brag about something being so great, why on earth would you make those three very fundamental mistakes I mention above?

I would think that you’d make every effort to get all aspects of this entire issue right the first time.
Something else I just thought of:

Nancy Pelosi said that we had to pass it to find out what’s in it.

No. You read something to find out what’s in it. We’re talking about something that will affect American lives. That’s 300 MILLION (approx) of us. Reading something before passage, in light of millions of lives being affected, is fundamentally important and 100% necessary.

Would a book publisher go publish something before they knew what was in it? Nope.

Passing something to find out what’s in it and publishing something before you’ve edited it both have one major thing in common: Doing so allows for many more mistakes to go unnoticed until unacceptable damage is done.

Of course, if you already knew what was in it before you passed it but said to us “pass it to find out what’s in it,” that right there is a red flag that you’re full of BS on the entire Obamacare law.

Political Correctness from Democrats & Republicans

I am sick of political correctness.

I'm not referring to the particular issues.

I'm referring to how the freedom of speech on such issues is handled.

I'm referring to how legal battles regarding freedom of speech on such issues are handled.

    Etc.

There is a distinction between what your beliefs are and how you're a representative of those beliefs.

When I was growing up, my mother always used to say "It's not what you say, it's how you say it."

Let me extend that a little further:

"It's not what you say, it's how you say it & how you represent your beliefs in whatever forum you're in at any given time."  That's to say, wherever you are, you're a representative of your belief system.

As such, representing your beliefs by advocating for the restriction of others speech is a very very bad thing (insert adjective here).

Just think, if the people who want to restrict your speech are all that's left one day, they'll have to live amongst their own, kind of like a dysfunctional family under one roof.  Some of them have super sensitive egos, some of them will exaggerate their claims & some of them will be extremely bitter.

To think of them ruling over people such as themselves gives me a headache.
