All these things require an ID except voting in some areas

Purchase alcohol and cigarettes.
Open a bank acount.
Apply for food stamps, welfare, medicaid, social security, job, unemployment.
Rent a house.
Buy a house.
Apply for a mortgage.
Drive or rent or buy a car.
Get on an airplane.
Get married.
Purchase a gun.
Adopt a pet
Rent a hotel room.
Apply for a hunting or fishing license.
Buy a cellphone.
Visit a casino.
Get a prescription.
Hold a rally or protest.
Donate your blood.
Buy an M rated video game.

In what is written in the list above, nothing is considered racist but the one thing below is.


Voting.


The question now is "why"?

If you or someone you know partakes in any of the activities in the long list above, then how hard is it, really, to show that very same ID to someone when you're voting?

Limited power

The more power that imperfect and ego driven beings such as us humans have, the more that power is likely to be abused, hence the need for limited government. The question now becomes how limited. Let the debate start there amongst whoever reads these words.
